A young Jesus was once lost for days before being found learning from spiritual leaders at the temple. Jesus made his personal growth and learning a priority. Sometimes it’s not something we want to do or place value in, but actively desiring to learn is a Jesus-like character trait that will be a habit that pays great benefits throughout our lives. We live in a world with a lot of darkness, and without light shining in that darkness, our eyes begin to adjust to the darkness and we don’t see everything as quite so dark.
